The Court Got It Right
The US Supreme Court ruled that President Biden's move to forgive debt for student loans is unconstitutional. Justice was served!
If someone signs for a loan on anything, there is the legal obligation to repay it. Period. It doesn't matter whether it's for a home, a car, or a college degree.
In this case, it seems the loans would be repaid, but by the federal government, which means by the US taxpayers. So an electrician, for example, would be paying for the degree of someone who defaulted on the loan. Also, those like me who already paid off the college loan years ago would also be paying for these defaulted loans.
Biden has a "Plan B," which will also be struck down. Stay strong, you nine in robes!
